INDEPENDENT INFORMATION
Editorial policy & corrections
How About connectFirst selects sources, distinguishes historical and current information, and handles corrections.
Editorial review: October 3, 2026 · Published by Oleksand Tsygan
Source selection
Factual statements about the merger are supported by the provider’s own announcement. General banking education refers to the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada. We label these roles so a reader can distinguish provider claims from educational material.
Original explanation and scope
Articles summarise relevant context in our own words and link to the underlying source. We do not present a reproduced provider page as an original review. General checklists are not personalised recommendations.
Dates and updates
Review dates indicate when the cited material was checked, not a guarantee of continuous monitoring. A historical announcement is labelled with its publication date. Current rates, account conditions and service availability must be verified with the provider.
Corrections
Readers should be able to identify the page, statement and supporting source when reporting an error. Confirmed factual errors will be corrected in the article; material corrections should identify the change and its date.
